Free Van Hire
When you book a storage unit with Make Space you also get the use of one of our FREE vans to help move your goods into storage. A saving worth up to £100 compared to Independent Hire.
We realise that moving house can be stressful, which is why we make the process at our stores as simple as possible. There are no complicated vouchers, or external companies to deal with. Our free move in vans are located on-site. You simply arrive on your chosen day and pick up the van ready to use. All of our stores have ample parking meaning you can leave your car on-site whilst you collect your goods.
To hire one of our vans Simply call your local store and book your move in date with one of our trained storage advisors. Alternatively, you can get an ONLINE QUOTE, and select 'Free van hire' when reserving. The vans are provided on a first come first served basis, so its best to book early!
Hiring one of our vans is completely free with no catch. We simply ask for a £250 security deposit, which is returned to you upon safe completion of the hire. We also ask you to replace any fuel that you use.
Removal Services
If for any reason you are unable to make use of our FREE van offer, we are able to put you in contact with one of our trusted partners. Whether you need a man and van service, or full removal company, Make Space is able to put you in contact with companies that have come recommended to us by our customers.
Driver Criteria
- Aged between 25 & 70 years.
- Hold a full UK driving licence with category B entitlement and have done so for 3 years.
- Have no more than six penalty points.
- Had no more than one fault accident in the past three years.
- Have not been disqualified from driving in the past three years. Any disqualification period must have ended at least three years ago.
- Have not been convicted during the last five years of any driving offenses with codes: DD, DR, DG, UT, AC, MS50, CD, MR, IN.
